With the introduction of the Early Years Foundation
Stage in September, Ofsted have issued a publication offering guidance to
providers. 'Are you ready for your
inspection?' offers lots of information on what to expect, how you will be
judged and graded during inspections. It is aimed at helping providers in their

the Children Poll
In a survey released on 16th July by
YouGov commissioned by the charity Save the Children it was found that more than one in
four parents on low incomes have been unable to get or keep a job because they
can't afford to pay for childcare. The survey makes interesting reading…….view
