This book investigates and explores managing behaviour with young children between the ages of three to seven years.
There are numerous topics and essential skills that are discussed in the book such as challenging childrens behaviour, helping children with special behavioural needs and whole class behaviour agreements.
The book is packed full of case studies and issues that arise when looking at managing behaviour. These can be related too by anyone working with young children and linked in with this the authors suggest very helpful skills and practices that can be used by all childcare practitioners.
The book is a good tool for all child carers and a bonus is that both Bill Rogers and Elizabeth McPherson have vast experience within Early Years environments, although a lot of the book is based on school age children and not so much with younger children.
I feel the book would also be of enormous use to anyone furthering their own learning in childcare as a reference tool for assignments and projects.
